Last month I had the opportunity to go to Sundance, something even just a year ago I never could have imagined getting to do. I saw a bunch of movies, including four really stellar films (“Going Clear,” “The Hunting Ground,” “Tangerine” and “The End of the Tour”), ate three grocery store sandwiches in two days and recorded one interview from an Indian food parking lot.
Amidst all the waiting, walking from theater to theater and getting stuck in this extreme dehydration/extreme need to pee cycle, it was pretty easy to forget you’re surrounded by views like this.
Now that I’m back in the wasteland of LA (jk, love you LA. Most of the time), I’m relishing having some weekends with no ambitions other than sleeping. And maybe some more grocery store sandwiches.
