It’s baaaaaaaack. After months of the darkness and coldness and flu-infested subways that are a New York winter, I present the return of the podcast. Or my podcast, anyway.
Even though I met Ben Ferguson more than halfway through my time in college, he somehow seems to occupy a space in most of my Davidson memories—the fun ones, at least. In school, I kinda thought of him as a little brother, but now, since he’s the New York pro, I more often end up coming to him for advice rather than the other way around. This boy knows his way around New York; specifically, which bars in Williamsburg serve chicken fingers (he’s from Alabama, y’all).
This is us in…2006-ish?
Now we’ve got much better hair, thank goodness.
Ben’s a voracious consumer of books and movies and music, and a superb writer, so I was eager to hear about his picks. He went with some things grounded in the heartbreaking realities of human existence and other things that function on a different level entirely (so long for now, Powder).
